Pet Policy

With the amount of requests that we have received from our customers in 2019, we have Decided to allow pets to be part of the camping experience! Being animals lovers ourselves, we understand pets become a huge part of the family. With that being said, there are guidelines you MUST follow.

Pet Policy Guidelines

due TO THE INCREASED RISK OF ALLERGIES ASSOCIATED WITH CATS, THEY Will not BE ALLOWED IN ANY OF OUR UNITS.

  • A $100 Pet Fee is required (non-refundable) along with a $250 deposit, copy of any driver(s) ID and a signed copy of the Pet Policy Agreement and Rental Contract (The Pet fee only allows 2 pet(s) in unit)

  • Small or medium dogs only (65lbs or less), anything else MUST be approved by us prior

  • Pet(s) MUST be up to date on all shots

  • Pet(s) MUST be house-trained and well mannered

  • Pet(s) MUST NOT be left unattended in any unit unless they are kenneled

  • Pet(s) MUST be free from fleas and ticks

  • Pet(s) MUST be free of any infection or illness that may be harmful to other animals

  • Owner(s) MUST clean up and take care of any pet(s) inside of unit

The $100 pet fee is a payment/agreement ensuring that you have read and agreed to abide by our pet policy agreement. Unlike the security deposit required when renting one of our units, the pet fee will not be reimbursed at any point. It is a one time fee allowing up to 2 pets inside the unit for the duration of your trip. Failure to comply with our pet policy agreement can result in you being charged. If the charge(S) exceed the $250 security deposit, then you will be responsible for paying the rest out of pocket. We expect each unit to be returned clean, holding tanks emptied, and free of any smells caused by pet(s).

born on June 22, 2016. He is our water pup! Remi spends upwards to 8+ hours swimming at our family cottage over the summer every year. He is a big fan of his toys, and likes them even more if you’re playing fetch with him. Remington was the only puppy left out of his litter when we decided to add our first puppy to our new family. When we arrived to meet him our hearts instantly melted. He looked just like a puppy version of a precious moment. He had big beautiful eyes that almost looked sad, but his wild tail begged to differ. Remi’s mom was born in Tennessee and was all of 70lbs, which is 35lbs larger than the average female springer. He acquired some of his mothers genes, weighing in at 65lbs. Remi is loyal and protective of his family, but given the chance he would choose kids over us any day! Remington makes our lives brighter everyday, and we couldn’t be more proud to have him as part of our family.

Ruger is our spunky Chesapeake Bay Retriever who was born on February 11th, 2018. This dog is all personality! We like to call him our bunny dog, because he spends most of his time bouncing around trying to show off his toy (or tree branch) to anyone who will pay attention to him. Ruger loves talking to us, and by talking we mean talking back when he gets in trouble. He only weighs approximately 70 pounds, which would most likely make him the runt of the litter. Ruger spent the first 4 months of his life eating home cooked meals provided by his previous owner. When we showed up to pick out a puppy from his litter, Ruger’s previous owner said that he would not allow for us to pick out a puppy, because the puppy chooses their own home. He was one of 4 puppies left, and while all the puppies ran around and played together, Ruger stayed attached to us the entire time. He knew instantly that he wanted to be a part of our family, and we couldn’t imagine our life without him.
